The Seven Commandments of Foursquare

From Foursquare’s community rep comes the clearest set of “rules” for the game I’ve seen. They boil down to these seven commandments:

1. Check in only where you are – once.
2. Don’t do drive-by or walk-by check ins.
3. If you’re at the supermarket, check in there; if you’re at dinner, check in there; if you sit in the park, check in there, but just keep it reasonable.
4. Don’t add fake tags.
5. Don’t check into places where you are not to try to get badges or mayorships.
6. Don’t post spammy tips.
7. Just play fair and keep it fun and useful!
