The results are in: Perry Ellis Heritage badge now available
A month ago, we told you about a “Battle of the Badges” Perry Ellis was hosting to let users vote on the design for their foursquare badge. Well, the results are in and it looks like the Heritage design was the winner. It’s now being unlocked on foursquare, including a unique 30% discount code for PerryEllis.com.
The unlock text reads:
That’s a stylish badge you’ve got there…the ultimate Perry Ellis accessory. Now head on over to perryellis.com, where you can get 30% off with your unique code. Congrats on checking in like a true American fashion icon!
From our original post, here are the details on unlocking the badge and the perks that come along with it:
Users will be able to earn it by following Perry Ellis on foursquare and checking in to five different venues (no more than two per day). All of the venues must be from Perry Ellis’ list of suggested venues, but at least one should be either a Perry Ellis store or a store that carries Perry Ellis products (i.e., Dillard’s, Macy’s, etc.).
Users who unlock the badge will automatically receive a coupon for a 20% discount at perryellis.com [Ed: this has apparently increased to 30% since the original announcement]. Once a month, Perry Ellis retail outlets will host a “foursquare weekend.†The first 25 foursquare users who check in and show their Perry Ellis badge will receive a free item. Badgeholders could also receive access to exclusive in-store events, celebrity and athlete personal appearances and express entry at select fashion shows.
If that’s not enough, the brand is planning to enter fans of their foursquare brand page in a contest to win a trip to their 2012 Spring fashion show in Miami (which, logically, will be held in the fall of 2011).
What do you think of the badge and the perks?
