South Park sponsors official foursquare badge for Comic-Con 2011
Comic-Con 2011 opens today in San Diego. If you’re heading there, be sure to check in to earn this year’s official badge. It’s sponsored by Comedy Central and South Park to mark the “Year of the Fan,” which celebrates the 15 year anniversary of the show.
The badge design features Cartman’s face squeezed into the shield. The unlock text reads:
It’s no Chili Con Carnival, but you’ve just cooked up the Comic-Con 2011 Badge! The South Park Experience is just across the street at First and J Street to score a super-sweet t-shirt.
The free South Park Experience features a life size replica of South Park Avenue, a South Park photo booth and face painting, and a South Park museum. There’s also a track where fans can race Big Wheels themed to each of the characters and a “school cafeteria” distributing special bags of Cheesy Poofs.
South Park isn’t the only badge available at Comic-Con. The 30 Minutes or Less badge is also available to attendees. Those who unlock it are eligible to skip the line for the screening if they show their badge (up to 20 people).
