Phi Iota Alpha fraternity badge launches

It’s been a while, but we finally have another badge to add to the collection of Greek organization badges. This one goes to Phi Alpha Iota, a Latino fraternity.

Members can unlock the badge by following the fraternity and checking in to three Phi Alpha Iota chapter locations. The unlock text reads:

Por La Patria! Strength, integrity and friendship is represented through the badge you just unlocked.

Interestingly, Phi Alpha Iota is only the fifth fraternity to launch a badge, but they’re the second Latino fraternity behind Sigma Lambda Beta.

    I don’t understand why foursquare is limiting this badge. Apparently if you unlocked a previous fraternity badge, you can’t unlock this one. I understand doing that to the College Badges (although, it really should be limited to one per semester or one per year since you can transfer out). But fraternity badges to me doesn’t only mean you have to be a part of that fraternity. It just means you are going to their events.

      I think that’s a strange rule, but these really are aimed at the members instead of others.

      FYI, I believe the college badges are now limited to one per year.
