PepsiMAX launches a NASCAR sweepstakes for checking in at Circle K stores
Next time you check in at your local Circle K store, it could be your ticket to a trip to Martinsville Speedway this October. PepsiMAX has launched a foursquare-based sweepstakes in conjunction with Circle K.
Foursquare users must connect their accounts at PepsiMAX.com/CircleK to register for the contest. After that they’ll gain an entry to the sweepstakes every time they check in at one of the nearly 2,500 Circle K stores that’s participating (up to one a day). The contest ends August 31.
The grand prize is a trip to Martinsville for the Tums Fast Relief 500 on October 28. Smaller drawings will occur throughout the sweepstakes, where users could win some PepsiMAX racing swag.
PepsiMAX has created a video — featuring racing legend Jeff Gordon — to promote the sweepstakes. You can see it above.
The contest is administered by GeoToko, “a location-based marketing and analytics platform made for businesses and brands to run real-time location-based promotions.” Unfortunately it’s not enabled with foursquare’s “connected apps” functionality yet, which would be a great way to help keep the PepsiMAX brand top of mind each time users check in at one of the contest locations.
