NYC Restaurant Week returns, complete with American Express foursquare discounts

NYC Restaurant Week is back for the twentieth time this year and American Express and foursquare are once again partnering to offer discounts to diners.

When you sync your American Express card to foursquare, you’ll be eligible for a $5 statement credit each time you spend $24 or more at one of the participating restaurants. With lunch prices set at $24.07 and dinner at $35, that shouldn’t be a problem.

As with other Amex specials, you’ll need to sync your card in advance (you can do so at m.nycgo.com/rw) and then tap the “Load to Card” button when you check in at the restaurant. After you pay using your Amex card, you’ll receive a statement credit within 3-5 days. The deals are good once per merchant during Restaurant Week, which runs July 16–August 10 (except Saturdays).

This is the second time foursquare and Amex have partnered for the event.
