Kuala Lumpur nabs a city badge
Foursquare just launched their city badge for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, one of the winners of the international city badge contest.
Like other city badges, the KL-lite badge can be unlocked by checking in at five of foursquare’s recommended spots in the city. The list, curated by local user Joe L., features some of the city’s most recognizable landmarks and, of course, shopping malls. The unlock text reads:
Where the Gombak and Klang rivers meet, head to the bustling Golden Triangle (by monorail, bus, or LRT)! From the shopping in Bejaya Time Square, to the chicken rice of Jalan Alor and Kampung Baru… KL-lah! So dive on in – the city of dreams awaits!
Featuring the Malaysian national flower, the hibiscus, this badge is one of the better looking city badges foursquare has released.
What do you think of the badge?
