KRAFT Cheese and Five Guys are teaming up for “Check-in for Charity” event to feed the hungry
In honor of National Cheeseburger Day tomorrow, KRAFT Cheese is teaming up with Five Guys Burgers & Fries to help feed the hungry. Starting today, each check-in at a Five Guys location will trigger a one-meal donation to Feeding America.
To make sure your check-in counts, you’ll need to connect your foursquare account at KraftCheese.com/checkin. Once you check in at your local Five Guys, KRAFT will donate a meal (really 12.5¢) to Feeding America and send you a thank you coupon for KRAFT Singles.
Signage will be placed in local Five Guys stores to encourage foursquare and Facebook users to check in. To find your nearest store, visit their foursquare page.
The promotion is administered by Atlanta-based PlacePunch. They’ve previously run contests for Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin Robbins and others.
To add to the Cheeseburger Day festivities, foursquare has announced they’ll be offering bonus points for any check-in at a burger joint on September 18.
What do you think of the promotion?
