Hit the slopes at California’s Alpine Meadows or Squaw Valley for the latest ski resort badges
Another new ski resort badge just landed on Foursquare. This one celebrates visitors to Alpine Meadows, one of Lake Tahoe’s top resorts.
To unlock the badge, visitors should follow Alpine Meadows on Foursquare and check in around the resort. As with other ski resort badges, it offers new levels (up to 10) for subsequent visits. The unlock text reads:
Converting visitors to locals since 1961. With seven open bowls, gentle, top-to-bottom cruisers, forested glades and epic parks- yeah, we think you made the right choice.
UPDATE: Alpine Meadows’ sister resort, Squaw Valley, has also launched a badge. The unlock text reads:
Lucky you. You’ve come to Squaw Valley where wide open powder bowls meet perfect groomers and parks. Now suit up and show off your skills, you dare devil.
What do you think of the badges?
