Get social with PUMA for three new badges
Global shoe brand PUMA is encouraging foursquare users to step up their “after hours” game to unlock the three newest badges. The badges are part of PUMA’s Get Social initiative.
The badges are:
Midnight Munchies: To unlock this badge, you’ll need to check in to three restaurants after 2 am. I’m sure I could’ve done this back in my college days, but it will take me a long time to earn it at this point.
Team Captain: Unlock this badge by checking in to three PUMA Social venues in 48 hours. PUMA has Social Clubs in major cities all over the world, including London, Los Angeles, New York, Moscow, Paris and Stockholm.
After Hours Athlete: This badge pays homage to PUMA’s famous After Hours Athlete commercials. Unlocking it requires five checkins at PUMA Social venues.
You’ll need to follow PUMA on foursquare to unlock their badges.
Puma is also encouraging users to check in at their Social Clubs to compete in something they’re calling Tournamayor 2012. It’s not clear exactly what this is, but we’ll let you know as we learn more.

Better than nothing, I guess… but as somebody who doesn’t live in NY or LA, I’d really like to see more core badges! Is 4sq going to continue to produce them?
Ha, with the API and the site having fallen down more in the last 24 hours than a one-legged alcoholic on a unicycle, anyone will be lucky to get anything, regardless of where they are.
I live in korea. Is it possible to get ‘Midnight Munchies’ badge in korea?? I need to check in three restaurants after 2 am. Is it possible to get the badge to check in any restaurants category??

Is there any way to search for these puma Places by location? Are there any in Cincinnati, for example?
I don’t think there are any here in Cincinnati. I wasn’t able to find a full list anywhere.
Did I break the World Weekly Foursquare Record?
What’s the 4sq World Weekly Record? I’ve reached 1000 (and over) points and (as You can see from attached images) perhaps there’s a little (but very little) bug in the app that causes numbers with more than 3 chars to show up itself with dots instead of numbers. Is this the sign that nobody before reached my personal record?
