Foursquare and MTV team up again to kick off VMA season in style
For the third year in a row, foursquare users can enter to win a trip to the Video Music Awards by unlocking a special Moonman badge courtesy of MTV.
The badge can be unlocked by liking MTV checking in to music venues. The unlock text reads:
You just entered to win a trip for 2 to the 2012 MTV VMAs, Sept. 6th at 8/7c! Play your cards right and One Direction might breathe on you.
The Moonman is the official mascot of MTV and the VMAs and has graced each of the three badges, which began in 2010. That year MTV picked a lucky foursquare who checked in at the red carpet event to receive tickets to the show.
