Finding Foursquare specials in your area can be a challenge. Unless you happen to be in just the right spot, your mobile app may not show businesses with nearby specials. CheckInDeals is a website that aims to make it easy to find deals near you.
Using the CheckInDeals site is simple; it automatically detects your location and shows you a list of nearby deals and plots them on a map. If you’re planning a trip, you can search for deals in other cities by using the search box at the top of the page. Clicking a business in the list or map brings you to a helpful information page that aggregates Yelp reviews and Foursquare tips for the venue.
When you visit CheckInDeals with a mobile phone, it uses your phone’s GPS to find your current location and displays nearby deals in a stripped-down, mobile-friendly interface. Clicking the venue’s address on its information page will launch Google Maps to make it easy to get turn-by-turn directions to the location.
In addition to Foursquare specials, CheckInDeals aggregates offers for Gowalla and Yelp users from businesses who’ve submitted deals to their site. Like 4SqOffers (previous coverage) and Snacksquare, their database of Foursquare deals isn’t complete. For instance, some Starbucks mayor specials show up in searches while others do not.

Here’s another site that lets you search for deals, but also helps you keep track of the deals at your favorite businesses, it’s getting that 5th checkin for a free sandwhich or unlocking an easy-to-attain mayor deal.
