Domino’s Pizza in the UK Offers a Free Pizza to Mayors (but only on Wednesdays!)
Just days after Starbucks launched their first mayor special across the US and Canada comes word that Domino’s Pizza is starting a nationwide mayor special across the pond. Starting today, Domino’s locations throughout the UK will be offering a free small pizza to their mayors each Wednesday.
This special is a little more appealing than the Starbucks offer. $1 off a Frappuccino isn’t that great a deal, especially when you consider there can only be one mayor per store. It also doesn’t help much if you’re not a Frappuccino drinker. A free pizza, on the other hand, is something anyone can redeem and enjoy without any additional cost. It makes sense to only offer it one day a week; you wouldn’t want the mayor coming in every single day to pick up their free pizza.
