Daily deal notifications for the places you’ve actually been
If you’re like me, it didn’t take long to get tired of the daily deal emails. It’s too much work to sort through and find the good ones in between the myriad of salons and restaurants from across town that I’m likely never to visit. Yipit helped somewhat by bringing just the best of the emails to my inbox, but a new service called CheckinCashin boils those down even further to just the places I’m really likely to go.
How does it know I’m likely to go? Because I’ve been there before.
CheckinCashin sends you a weekly email with deals for places you’ve checked in previously and, thus, are more likely to go again. The deals are aggregated from more than 100 providers by Yipit, then filtered by CheckinCashin to create a highly relevant deal email just for you.
You’ll only get an email from CheckinCashin if it’s found deals for you, so there’s no need to worry about getting an irrelevant email each week just to prove they’re still around (I’m looking at you, Living Social).
I got my first email yesterday and it included an offer for an oil change at a Jiffy Lube I visit regularly and a half-off deal at the Chinese restaurant where all the servers know my name. Offers don’t get much more relevant than that.
While you may not be exposed to new places (the reason businesses try daily deals in the first place) with CheckinCashin, you will find some highly relevant deals at the places you’ve been before. And since CheckinCashin is doing all the legwork, you don’t even need to sift through all those daily deal emails to find the ones you’re interested in. Just sit back and wait for them to come to you.
