Craving tacos? New connected app finds the closest tacos each time you check in
There’s never a wrong time to eat a taco. They’re great for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even late at night. But tacos aren’t always the easiest things to find, so a new connected app, Yo Taco!, aims to help you find tacos nearby each time you check in.
Yo Taco! searches for tacos near your current location and, if it finds any, displays their location right in the connected apps section of foursquare. Tapping through takes you to a bit more information, including the address and a map, along with a link to the venue page in the foursquare app.
The app was built by Geoff Gauchet, aka Zhephree, the developer behind the foursquare app for WebOS devices.
As long as it doesn’t recommend Taco Bell too often, I’ll keep Yo Taco! connected, because I’m always craving tacos. In fact, I couldn’t even write this post until I’d had a few for lunch (see photo above)!
