Check in at the Sports Authority on Black Friday for a chance at a $500 gift card

I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot of foursquare specials on Black Friday this year. The service is really starting to gather some mainstream momentum right as we enter the heavy Christmas shopping season and retailers are poised to take advantage of it.

Today sporting-goods store Sports Authority announced a new special for foursquare users: tweet your foursquare checkin and you could be randomly selected to win one of 20 $500 gift cards. They’ll announce your name in the store if you’re one of the winners (must be present to win, blah, blah).

For the past several months, Sports Authority has been offering their mayor a $10 cash card to use on their purchase. It’s one of the best nationwide mayor specials you’ll find on foursquare.
