Celebrate Halloween with two new badges

Just as they did last year, foursquare has launched two new badges to celebrate Halloween.

Starting at 8pm tonight, you’ll be able to unlock the Halloween 2011 badge by including “Happy Halloween” along with your checkin. The Spooky Swarm badge is a little tougher to get. You’ll need to check in with a swarm of people to earn it.

These are some of the only holiday badges foursquare offers, because Halloween is celebrated in many countries and not tied to any particular religion. Last year they turned out to be a lot of fun to get, so I’d expect more of the same in 2011.
