Breckenridge gets a Foursquare badge

With twelve resorts now, the Foursquare ski badge series is really expanding this year. The latest entrant is Breckenridge, Colorado’s legendary resort.

To unlock the badge, skiers must follow Breckenridge on Foursquare and check in at one of their official locations. As with the other ski resort badges, it “levels up” with subsequent check-ins. The unlock text reads:

Welcome to Breck! Our exhilarating slopes and our legendary aprés atmosphere await you. Prepare yourself for an epic adventure!

Foursquare’s badge program for ski resorts launched in 2011 with a handful of resorts. It’s since grown to eleven of North America’s top resorts, plus one in Europe.
