B-Roll: Foursquare adds new points icons

Over the past few weeks, Foursquare has added in a number of nice icons that show the reason you earned points.

Do they make a huge impact on your Foursquare experience? Of course not.

Are they one of the little details that I love about Foursquare? You betcha.

Here are the ones I’ve spotted (sorry they’re so small, but these are the largest available). Have you found any others?

Pals with the mayor
The mayor is in the house
Miles traveled
One of your top categories
Been here more than any other friend
You've been here X times

    I can’t say if these are truly new or not, but they’re new to me. There’s a red background one with two human figures (like the pal w/ mayor one) that says X days with the same friend this week. Then there’s an orange background one with a flame for “X straight weeks at (Venue)!” I can’t remember if that’s new or not. Is there actually a list of these little mini graphics anywhere online?

      Both of those have been around for a while. The red one is the BFF bonus that’s been around since the new points system launched and the orange one is tied to “streaks.”
