Foursquare Perspectives lets large brands get a better understanding of how their customers are interacting with their venues on foursquare

Awareness, Inc. has launched a useful free foursquare reporting tool for large brands. Foursquare Perspectives makes it easy to get some basic statistics and see the most popular venues for any business with multiple locations.

By searching for a brand, anyone can see statistics like the number of venues, total checkins, unique checkins and mayors for all that brand’s venues. You can also see a list of people who hold the most mayorships across that particular chain and which are the most popular venues in the chain by total checkins, unique checkins and a repeats ratio that measures the frequency of repeat visits.

For instance, a search for Walmart brings up 5,892 venues that have seen a total of 242,398 checkins among 109,352 unique users. 3,517 of those stores have mayors. We can even see that one user holds the mayorship of 7 Walmarts.

These are some very powerful stats that could help brand managers know where to target their location-based marketing and give them more insight into how customers are interacting with their brands on foursquare.

Awareness, Inc. released foursquare Perspectives to highlight the recent addition of foursquare to the mix of services their Social Marketing Hub supports. Users of the Social Marketing Hub can now automatically publish tips to their foursquare venues when they post on other services.
