Are there any clips after the credits? New connected app tells you
I love it when there’s a funny clip after the end of a movie’s credits, so I normally sit all the way through the credits to see if there is one. Thanks to a new connected app on foursquare, I won’t have to stick around to find out; I’ll know as soon as I check in.
Once connected to your account, After Credits waits for you to check in to a movie. When you do, it checks What’s after the credits? to see if there’s a “stinger.” It then posts to your foursquare check-in (you’ll see it in the connected apps section) to let you know either way, so you won’t have to worry about missing something if you leave before the third assistant to the caterer scrolls by on the screen.
This is a simple, but super-useful app that shows the power of the foursquare platform and connected apps. It lets you know about a contextually-relevant bit of data that you wouldn’t have known otherwise, and could have wasted several minutes finding out on your own. I get excited about the possibilities of these types of apps, because there are so many other things developers could connect you to simply based on your location.
After Credits is free, so connect it up and give it a try. Let us know what you think in the comments.
