American Express launches a new round of deals at Small Businesses nationwide
American Express’ Shop Small deals are back for another round on foursquare, encouraging users to shop at small businesses nationwide. Those who took advantage of deals in the last round are eligible to take advantage of the $5 discounts again in this round.
One $5 statement credit can be claimed by checking in at an eligible business and tapping the “load to card” button on the special screen. After spending $10 or more and paying with your synced card, American Express will apply the credit to your account within 3-5 days.
It’s important to note that these discounts are handled and administrated solely by American Express (with the help of the foursquare app). In most cases the business owner will have no idea that these deals are even being offered, so asking them for the discount directly will prove fruitless.
