I’m an SU3 and deletion is a staff only option, although I’m hoping that will change soon.
I posted on GetSat with an idea of having pre-set reasons for flagging a venue for deletion. Things like ‘duplicate’ ‘I don’t want my home on Foursquare’ ‘Vulgar named’ ‘Other (please state) That way some of the HUGE deletion request queues can be passed over to SU’s (I’d expect this to be an SU3 only feature). Duplicates and vulgar named venues are no-brainers and SU’s can confidently delete/merge them with minimal risk of deleting a legitimate venue that Joe Bloggs has decided he doesn’t want it there anymore.
I think a lot of people flag a duplicate for deletion as they don’t realise that venues can be merged.
Foursquare liked my idea and it has gone live and now we have a pull-down menu for reasons with a blank box for the ‘Other’ option.
As yet no deletion queues have been passed on to SU’s so I’m not sure that will happen, it might just make their internal admin queues easier to handle without getting SU’s involved but I’d really like to see SU’s get some deletion power just to ease the load on staff and get the job done quicker which keeps users happy.

Can you broadcast your podcast as a RSS-feed. Then others than Apple will be able to easy follow it in programs as e.g. Google Listen (Android)
