Other than the mention of Northbridge, there’s nothing exclusively “Perth” about it; it relies on outdated Australian stereotypes, misappropriates obscure vernacular (Perthians? Bevvies? Really??) and worst of all, it doesn’t even sound like a foursquare badge unlock statement. I’m upset because this was our chance to showcase ourselves to the foursquare users of the world – to show who we really are and what we’re about, and now we just look like a bunch of sandgropers (which is mildly perjorative) who can’t spell “strewth.”
