4sqMap: foursquare stats on steroids
For a data nerd like me, foursquare holds a vast amount of interesting information about the places I’ve been, but getting that information out of foursquare can sometimes be a challenge. A new site, 4sqMap, takes your checkin data and makes it interesting with maps and tables of some of foursquare’s most compelling data.
Curious about the number of times you’ve visited a coffee shop? You can find it on 4sqMap’s sortable list of your checkins by category. You can even drill down to see exactly which venues you’ve visited in that category.
Want so see all your checkins on a map? There’s a view for that. Zoom out and brighter color circles replace the map pins to show areas where you check in often.
Want to know which place you’ve visited most? Check out the venues table. You can sort it by name, number of checkins, or most recent checkin and even filter by date.
There are also maps to see your friends’ latest checkins, all the badges you’ve earned and each of your mayorships.
4sqMap is simple and easy to use. It takes all the information that’s stored on foursquare’s servers and is available through the API and makes it interesting to browse.
Give 4sqMap a try and let us know what you think in the comments.
